DEFINITION OF URBANIZATION PHENOMENON IN MODERN SOCIAL AND GEOGRAPHICAL RESEARCH

Abstract

This article is devoted to reflection of different interpretations of the concept of “urbanization” in view of the temporal characteristics. Dedicated important concepts of urbanization, determined to find the optimal settlement system and instruments of regulation. Special attention is paid to modern scientific definition of urbanization as a socio-geographical process.
