SPECIFICITY AND REGIONAL DIFFERENCES IN THE DEGREE OF URBANIZATION (ON THE EXAMPLE KHERSON REGION)

Abstract

This article is devoted to a brief analysis of urbanization tendencies and dynamics of major indicators in Ukraine and in Kherson region. Attention is focused on the quantitative nature of urbanization, where the main indicator is the share of urban population. The significant territorial differentiation of urban population share in Kherson region is underlined.
