MOBILE APPLICATION "LUTSK CITY GUIDE": GROUNDS AND PERSPECTIVES OF USE IN TOURISM ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The importance of information technologies in the tourist sector has been considered. The essence and the prospects of using mobile applications in tourism have been determined. The experience of the mobile applications implementation, in particular audio guides by the leading tourist centers of Ukraine, has been analyzed and the implementation prospects of this technology based on the example of the city Lutsk have been estimated. The theoretical and practical recommendations for the development of the author's mobile application and its importance for increasing the tourist attractiveness of the territory have been described.
