Migration in the context of devaluation OF place and quality of life: issues statement

Abstract

The article discusses some aspects of the transformation of subject areas of migration studies in geography and related sciences. The evolution of the problem and meaningful focuses in estimates of population mobility as a complex socio-geographical process is considered. The necessity of setting new objectives for the study of social, cultural, economic and political preconditions and the effects of migration is underlined.
