Foreign experience in assessing the quality of life: an analysis of methodological approaches and lines of research

Abstract

The article analyzes the existing quality assessment procedures and conditions of life of the popula- tion. The basic criteria for assessment of the standard of living of the population. The author provides a comparative description of the main techniques offered in the international, Ukrainian-Russian language and literature. On the basis of the selected advantages and disadvantages of these methods are defined further directions of research.
