SOCIAL-GEOGRAPHIC RESEARCH OF SAFETY OF TOURISM IN CONDITIONS OF GLOBALIZATION AND CONFLICTS

Abstract

The article deals with the security of tourism due to the intensification of the activities of international terrorists. The issue under study is particularly relevant due to the fact that terrorists are increasingly choosing for their acts places of mass gathering of people, which often coincide with tourist preferences. It has been established that the activity of terrorist activity intensified especially at the beginning of the XXI century, which is associated with the globalization of society and the rapid pace of development of communication media. An analysis of the geography of the terrorist attacks has shown that at present they can occur anywhere and no one can fully guarantee their absence. It was confirmed that terrorist acts reduce the level of tourist flows in tourist centers, have a negative impact on the economy of the country affected by the terrorist attack. It has been established that the process of restoring the former pace of
tourism development depends on the degree of economic development of the state, the level of security organization. It is recommended to pay more attention to the safety of tourists, to conduct educational work among them regarding the protection of life. Particular attention should also be paid to the prevention of terror in tourist centers.
