PROBLEMS OF THE PERIPHERY OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE NORTH OF LUGANSK REGION

Abstract

Lugansk region are considered in the article. We attributed them to: demographic (reducing the level of mortality, reducing the rate of depopulation); agricultural (increasing the pace of production of agricultural products, ensuring the breakeven activity of enterprises, compliance with crop rotation systems); the problem of the development of industry (support for small business in a highly competitive environment); high unemployment rate (lack of stability and seasonality in agriculture, curtailment of the social sphere) etc. Having discovered the problems of the periphery of the investigated territory, we see that all of them can be solved under the conditions of stability of social and economic development, resolution of the military conflict in the region and sufficient financing from the state.
