APPLYING THE 2GIS ELECTRONIC REFERENCE BOOK AND ARCGIS GIS-PLATFORM FOR THE CITY INFRASTRUCTURE RESEARCH

Abstract

Our paper introduces the analyzes of the main advantages of applying the ArcGIS GIS-platform, its plugins, and the 2GIS electronic reference books for the anthropogenic infrastructural research. The main problems usually faced by researchers at the stage of primary cities infrastructural component data collection and ways of their possible solution have been described. Few examples of using the information obtained from the electronic reference books in the GIS-platform have been provided.
