MODERN SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO SEPARATISM STUDY

Abstract

During writing the article, the main approaches to determining the essence of separatism are revealed and analyzed. Considered and grouped the reasons and preconditions for the emergence of separatist movements. The criteria of classifying separatists proposed by different authors were studied and a generalized scheme of the types of separatism was developed taking into account the reasons for the intensification of separatist movements, the intensity and forms of manifestations of this phenomenon, territorial character, degree of openness, groups of strikers, and the requirements that they put forward.
