ДЕКОЛОНІЗАЦІЯ ОЙКОНІМІВ УКРАЇНИ: У ПОШУКУ ОПТИМАЛЬНИХ ПІДХОДІВ

Анотація
Метою цієї статті, у якій об’єктом дослідження виступають українські ойконіми, є демонстрація того, що деколонізація топонімії є складним і нетривіальним завданням, яке не має шаблонних рішень на національному рівні, однак потребує напрацювання принципів, підходів та процедур, які мали би виконувати роль дороговказу для органів місцевого самоврядування під часобговорення та прийняття рішень щодо перейменування населених пунктів. Для досягненнямети: визначено окремі категорії ойконімів в контексті їх можливої деколонізації; окреслено підходи, які можуть бути застосовані для нетривіальних випадків застосування ойконімів в кожній звизначених категорій; запропоновано можливі варіанти коригування існуючого ойконіму або жвибору нового в залежності від специфіки ситуації. Аналіз потенційних цільових кейсів доводить,що кваліфіковано проведені топонімічні зміни – це потенційна можливість не лише гармонізуватитопонімічний ландшафт України та відновити історичну справедливість, але й усунути з картиУкраїни широко розповсюджені назви, зробивши акцент на географічній та історико-культурнійсамобутності населених пунктів. Водночас, безсистемна ліквідація окремих топонімів несе загрозуще більшого збіднення топонімічного розмаїття України через вживання шаблонних назв. Аналіз потенційних кейсів перейменування доводить, що прийняття закону про деколонізацію топонімії може призвести до низки непорозумінь. Адже перейменування також має гармонізуватисяз історичними метанаративами, по відношенню до яких ще має бути досягнута суспільна згода.Це питання колоніального/неколоніального статусу територій сучасної України в складі іншихдержав, питання участі України/українців в Другій світовій війни, це модель української нації,це визначення приналежності/не приналежності тих чи інших постатей до національної історії.Пошук оптимального рішення по перейменуванню має відбуватися із залученням потенційних стейкхолдерів, застосуванням індивідуального підходу до кожної назви та широкого кола інструментів громадського суспільства.
